ELEXORIEN Announces New Singer
February 9, 2010Dutch "epic battle metal" band ELEXORIEN has announced the addition of 19-year-old singer Lotte (pictured below) to the group's ranks. According to the band, "[Lotte] will manifest baffling new definitions of sounding the siren call."
ELEXORIEN parted ways with vocalist Iné Zijlstra last fall due to "personal differences."
According to ELEXORIEN's official bio, the band has been influenced by such acts as THYRFING, MOONSORROW, BAL-SAGOTH, and OLD MAN'S CHILD. ELEXORIEN "creates an extremely powerful sound which is jam-packed full of catchy melodies, blazing drums, majestic keys, growls and classically trained female vocals."
ELEXORIEN's debut album was released in April 2007 via Germany's Trollzorn/SMP Records. The CD was recorded at Jörg Uken's Soundlodge Studios in Rhauderfehn, Germany.
